Final typeface in context.



Aimed at 60's breakfast related designs for the kitchen, I think the first design works better as it stands out, trying to portray a easy going, just woken up moment.

Haiti

I'm focusing my project on Unique Contemporary Promotion of band Arcade Fire. After looking into bands background I found they have a strong, serious link with Haiti Earthquake appeal (with family links) so I will be looking at portraying this in my promotion.

Translating -  Haiti, my country, wounded mother I'll never see. My family set me free. Throw my ashes into the sea. My cousins, never born, haunt the nights of Duvalier. Nothing stops our spirits. Guns can't kill what soldiers can' t see. In the forest we are hiding, unmarked graves where flowers grow. Hear the soldiers angry yelling, in the river we will go.

Martini

- Impossible Images or other forms of paradoxical deception in the viewers head.

Optical illusion advertising Martini, as it's well known catch phrase is 'Shaken, not stirred' it invites the chosen audience to take part in the 'game' by literally shaking the image to discover what it is advertising
In my brief I want attract the audience by involving them within the advertisement, I feel this is a good example of audience participation within advertisement.
