Set Design.

Looking into creating a set for a narrative I am yet to chose, based around world war 2.
War Horse is a good example of this and has recently won the Tony award for Best Scenic Design by Rae Smith.

Exhibition

Once Upon A Wartime delves into the pages of well-loved books, bringing five stories of war dramatically to life.

Adults and children can wander through life-size sets, peer into intricate scale models and explore the stories’ themes of loyalty, separation, excitement, survival and identity.’

Imperial war museum

I have taken a recent interest in war time evacuees, so I decided to re-do my re-inventing illustration brief on this subject. I took a recent trip to the Imperial war museum where there is an exhibition reflecting the young live of children during war-time - including letters and toys from children evacuated from London.
